This week we will also celebrate the first anniversary of Fidelizer Nimitra Computer Audio Server product with firmware 2.0 update. Nimitra firmware 2.0 comes with changes and adjustments through the year with the following updates:

-Added core isolation design making effective use of quad core with isolated tasks
-Added library server auto-update with storage changes every 30 seconds
-Added hosted wireless network connection name “Nimitra” with password “fidelizer”
-Fixed JPLAYStreamer instability issue with startup procedures
-Fixed library server database clean-up to delete old artwork database too
-Improved default JPLAY settings for wider USB audio compatibility
-Improved sound device detection during system initialization

Nimitra will receive significant sound quality improvement by making full uses of quad core processor. Tasks will assigned to separated cores like this.

Core Audio / JPLAY / JPLAYStreamer / Asset uPNP

You will reach the next level of real sound performance with improved transparency and micro-detail extraction for default playback configuration. You can also access Nimitra directly with hosted WiFi network called Nimitra too so you can setup system without router which is very convenient.

Since this is a special occasion for Nimitra and Nikola products, you can purchase Nimitra and Nikola with the discounts as below.

Fidelizer Nimitra Computer Audio Server: US $1395 —> $1295 (Fidelizer customers will receive $50 additional discount)

I hope this will be good chance for you to consider upgrading Fidelizer software. I’ll launch a new update soon after this campaign is over. 🙂

Added Nimitra feedback from Murat Ucer

Here’s a new feedback today. This time it’s from a customer using standard Nimitra without Nikola linear power supply.

Hi Keetakawee, I received the Nimitra yesterday and I want to congratulate you on a wonderful streamer.  The set up was a breeze and the sound is fantastic! I spent 3 hours last night listening to music, what a treat!

Another satisfied customer using Nimitra, affordable highend server tuned with Esoteric transports. 🙂

Added Nimitra feedback from Manu

Here’s a new feedback today. This time it’s from customer ordering a custom unit of Nimitra (Not $29,900 Nucleus yet).

Hi Keetakawee,

I am now back home enjoying the music with Nimitra.

I am very happy with Nimitra, sonic performance is great – thought you’d want to know.

Thank you for your work for me.

Regards,
Manu

I’ll also send a custom version of Nikola to him soon too. Hope to see his follow-up since it’s upgraded a lot. 🙂

Added Nimitra+Nikola feedback from Simon Bailey

Here’s another feedback today from Fidelizer Nimitra customer. He also owns a few flagship servers so his feedback will help in evaluating Nimitra+Nikola a lot.

Hi Keetakawee,

Thanks so much for all your trouble! Everything seems to be working well now. I did unplug the USB lead to the DAC, so I could compare the Aurender and the Nimitra, as you had it playing stably..

I can’t get JRemote to register, but that’s no problem now that both Kazoo and mConnect are working fine! 🙂

So, my impressions of the Nimitra, now that it is playing well is that it really is amazingly good. It can’t match the three-dimensional sound generated by the Aurender, but it’s also important to realize that most people’s systems will never know the difference..

To put that in context, the music server (Nimitra or Aurender) are playing down a ‘Curious’ USB cable into a Lampizator Golden Gate DAC, then into a Brinkmann Marconi Pre-amp, balanced signal out to PSaudio Bascombe King Signature 300 monobloc amps and into Sophera Transparent LH 1 isobaric speakers. All interconnects and speaker cables are 99.998 silver. In anything other than this system, I reckon the Nimitra would sound very close to the Aurender or Baetis – and better than Naim etc..

So you’ve done a great job – and provided fantastic service – I really appreciate it! I’ll probably set the Nimitra up for my colleague (who makes the Sophera speakers – sophera.com.au ) and see if it’s a good fit for him and his clients..

Have a good night and all the very best with your forward journey.. Please stay in touch and let me know what you’re doing..

Simon

Nimitra costs less than 10% of Aurender W20 to get very close sound quality and 30-day money back guarantee. 🙂

Added Nimitra+Nikola feedback from Richard

Here’s a new feedback today from Fidelizer Nimitra customer. He sent me his feedback after testing Nimitra and Nikola with Roon and JPLAY setup.

Hoi Keetakawee,

I thought I will give you an update of my adventures with Nimira and Nikola. It runs very stable. Some times after a driver switch a DAC clock locking problem occurs but that is fixed by a restart or some more switching.
Roon runs very stable and also with JPLAY as driver / output. JPLAY Server and Kazoo runs stable (slow on the remote). I guess to much files and albums. Latest update did not solve all the performance issues.

Than at last where everything started with. Sound wise Nimitra is for me an end game solution.
I am not going to describe my experience in subjective terms but I am very happy with it and I do not need anything better. I can alter the sound it a little bit with different USB cables, drivers or the player. It’s a matter of taste but it sounds always good.

Roon performs sound wise also very nice. Comparing Roon to Jplay is not that easy. I like them both and I can use them both. Luxury problem that I am very happy with.

Regards,
Richard

Using Nimitra computer audio server and Nikola linear power supply can be end game setup for many audiophiles. 🙂
