Fidelizer Pro purchase options bugs are now fixed

After ending 3,300th purchase offer campaign. I wondered why people kept ordering Plus version and not a single person bought Pro version recently. Today I received a message from client saying he can’t purchase Pro version today. It seems WordPress auto text correction bug strikes again.

Now I’ve fixed Fidelizer Pro purchase options and you should be able to purchase Fidelizer Pro license and other upgrade options as before. If you purchase Fidelizer Plus recently and want to upgrade to Pro version, you can purchase “From Plus to Pro” option at $30 USD in Fidelizer Pro’s section.

I’m truly sorry for this bug to happen again. I wonder if it’s possible to disable auto text correction feature in editor. I tried to change in text mode only every time now but sometimes it still cut options in form.

Should I get NimitraS or Nimitra + Nikola first?

I received similar questions from a few clients recently since NimitraS is $1895 and you can buy Nimitra + Nikola at about the same price too. After answering their questions, I believe it’s worth sharing my insights about this upgrade path.

Upgrading server with good linear power supply will really help your server shine a lot. I tested Nikola linear power supply with my own server, Roon Nucleus/Intel NUC, Mytek/exaSound/Yulong DAC and its worth upgrading for high quality power supply.

The question is actually more like whether you should spend $500 more on NimitraS upgrade or Nikola linear power supply first. If you choose NimitraS, you get SLC SSD and premium RAM upgraded with modification modification including high quality clock on USB audio.

If you choose Nimitra + Nikola, you get high quality linear power supply tuned with highend Esoteric transport as a reference for very low coloration sound and high neutrality. Both choices are good on its own with different ups and downs.

But if you have more budget in future, both choices will affect your upgrade path a lot. If you choose NimitraS first, you can just order NikolaS and you can enjoy the improvements with power supply upgrade immediately.

If you choose Nimitra + Nikola first, you will need to ship both products back to me first to apply Signature upgrade and wait until I finish and ship the upgraded products back. While I offer free shipping for upgrade combo, the waiting time without Nimitra is less desirable.

So I recommend to choose NimitraS over Nimitra + Nikola for your first purchase. Once you have more budget to further your upgrade path, you may consider adding NikolaS later. This way you don’t have to send your Nimitra + Nikola back for continuous music enjoyment. 🙂

Fidelizer - PerfectDynamics Sound Optimizations

 

I’ve been trying to find some time to work on iBasso DX120 ROM for a while and finally I made it today. DX120 comes as Mango version only but Purist ROM can still improve its Particle audio configuration and system configuration like previous its brothers DX50/80/90. 🙂

 

-Based on firmware version 2.2.42
-build.prop tweaks for better video and storage performance and improve battery life
-Audio engine optimized for only audio playback (EQ/Gaplass features work)
-Bundled audio effects removed but keep main engine

Installation Guide

1. Extract update.img from archive and copy to root directory of micro SD card and put in DX120 slot
2. Open device Settings > Advanced > System Update
3. Wait for device to finish flashing
4. After flashing is completed, you should see Fidelizer Purist ROM boot animation indicating successful update

iBasso DX200 Oreo 8.1 Purist ROM Beta 2 version released!

iBasso DX200 Oreo Beta 2 ROM was released yesterday. It sounds better with fuller midrange and deeper bass with more texture. And here’s Purist ROM version.

 

-Based on firmware version Oreo 8.1 Beta 0.03.004 (Beta 2)
–Yalp Store is added as Play Store’s alternative (I keep Google Play Services for those who want to install Play Store through other means)

Installation Guide

First of all, this Oreo ROM comes with Verity enabled to protect system partition images. Even if you managed to flash modified system image and boot properly, those files won’t be updated and use older files from cache partition. To disable Verity, please follow the instructions below.

1. Go to Settings > System > About tablet and tap “Build number” for 7 times to enable “Developer options”
2. Tap back arrow and enter “Developer options” and enable “USB debugging”, press OK
3. Download Disable Verity package and run disable_verity.bat file (You can install driver from Official Oreo ROM package)

After DX200 boots up properly with Verity disabled, you can start flashing Purist ROM now with these steps below.

1. Turn off DX200
2. Connect DX200 with USB connection to computer while holding play button switch
3. Install Rockchip USB driver included in update tool
4. Flash Official Oreo ROM Beta firmware from iBasso with instructions provided in update tool
5. After successfully flashing official one, flash Purist ROM again

 

This firmware is still in beta stage so it’s not stable yet. If you have any issue with Oreo ROM beta, you can always go back to official 2.1.94 version and then flash Fidelizer Purist ROM thereafter for better sound quality and system performance. 🙂
